sheep are smarter than we think

Apparently, sheep not only prefer happy people, but noticeably cheer up when they see pictures of family. (Well, they become less stressed in stressful situations, but let's assume that's the same thing.)

It's still a bit of a leap to say that sheep are alien explorers who were lulled into domestication by our pleasant weather, though.
