Krispy Kreme introduces glazed doughnut drink

But at least there's one bright spot of sanity: The Winston-Salem, N.C.-based company said it currently does not have plans to introduce low-carb versions of the new drinks.

(I actually want to try out the "low-carb" Coke, to see if it's both less sugary and NutraSweet-y. It would just be very wrong for Krispy Kreme to go this route, that's all.)

A frozen beverage?

But everyone says they're only good when they're hot, anyway.

Heh. You're right. But as to the actual glazed doughnuts, we figured out that you could microwave them for 20 seconds and make them nice again, so they're still okay (if not great) the next day.

I will admit that if I ever come across one, I'll have to try it, in the same way that I'll have to eat a deep-fried Twinkie at a state fair some day. I just hope these two events don't coincide.
