vast quantities of Martian ice

I'm just getting back into the swing of things after taking a few days off for Thanksgiving. (It was good, it was in Iowa, and we survived the road trip. =) ) And what does Slashdot tell me? It tells me about a New Scientist article about possibly finding a vast Martian ice field. And there might be liquid water at the bottom, too. Too cool. They're not sure that the techniques or technology used to detect this work quite yet, but here's hoping.
