Star Wars, redux
Sep. 21st, 2004 01:56 pmThis new Star Wars article on CNN talks about how improvised, off-the-cuff, goofy, and light-hearted many aspects of the original Star Wars movies were. I think that's right, and it's part of what makes the original movies so much fun. So, here's my beef for the day -- if George Lucas takes it so seriously that it has to be altered to match his true artistic vision, how can he complain that the fans take it too seriously?
You know, I bet he wanted to re-dub Yoda with CGI.
(I'd say "re-vamp", but Yoda ain't no vamp.)
