is it ... PREHISTORIC?
Apr. 15th, 2009 10:38 pmA long time ago, on the north side of Chicago,
m00nglum was asking the exterminator about a bug he'd seen. As I remember him telling the story:
Exterminator: "Well, I don't know. Is it ... PREHISTORIC?!?!?!"
Moonglum: *gulp* "Yes...?"
Exterminator: "Oh, that's just the common house centipede."
I was just reminded of this because BoingBoing has a nice post about them. Useful critters. I knew they ate other bugs. I didn't know they could live for years, and actually are poisonous, although not dangerous to people.
