I saw an innocent-looking link, on gmail I think, to a preview of a movie called "Sunshine". I thought, "hmm, another movie about vampires?" and clicked on the link.
Oh, no. It's much scarier than vampires. It's science fiction.
Here's the Rotten Tomatoes page on Sunshine, and they have a trailer for you to watch. But, I'll spare you that and just tell you the secret: it's a movie about the sun "dying", and so we do what we always do in this situation -- send a spaceship to the sun carrying a device which will fix it! I bet this would be a great double-feature with "The Core".
(The director is the guy who did "Trainspotting" and "28 Days Later". That's not enough to make me hope this will be good.)
