20 years too late, Bon Jovi still rocks!
Nov. 9th, 2005 11:14 pmWow. That was ... shockingly fun. Jon Bon Jovi started out by saying that the concert yesterday in Cleveland sucked, and I'd say they must have made up for it. Double encore, all of the best songs, 23 songs total, and a George Thorogood cover! Dude!
Also, there were four guitars, two songs with the double-bladed guitar, Richie Sambora had at least 3 hats, and there were shiny gold lamé pants too. Oh, and I think I saw Bon Jovi groped to death by ravening fans. I gotta say, he still looked okay. Kinda like Luke Skywalker, with a guitar. No need for reanimation here, unlike the last, unfortunate, Blue Öyster Cult concert.
(There were about 20,000 more people than at the BOC concert, too. Much bigger place. The odd thing? The next shows there are Gwen Stefani, and Sesame Street Live. Not together, I hope.)
( set list, if you really want to know )
