I like the NYT "Public Editor's Column"

Since its inception, I've really enjoyed the NYT "Public Editor's Column". It's meta-conversation about the meaning of the newspaper itself, and this is very welcome in these days where I wonder why on earth the papers pay attention to the things they do, and why "the public" doesn't seem to have the same facts I do.
