our apartment is too large

Actually, the apartment is a studio, as many of you know, so it's hardly too large. But I think the building might be too large: they just posted official bulletins informing us that we have an official July 4th Security Procedure. Only 100 people on the 38th floor for fireworks watching (first come, first served), and they want guest lists in advance. Admittedly, I don't think we'll be inviting anyone all the way up to the 3rd floor for a special viewing, so we're not affected, but I had thought about going way upstairs to see the show. We'll see how it goes.
