Yup, it was both immediate and free, which is good, given that it took me six months to sign up so I could read other people's journals as it is. Imagine how long it would've taken me if it were difficult or costly!

Maybe I won't have a LiveJournal. Maybe I'll just have one continuous thread of comments.
